Orders & Products
Are your pieces really handmade?
Yes. Every item is assembled by hand in our studio in small batches. Small variations between pieces are normal and are part of how handmade work looks.
Why are quantities so low?
Most designs exist in runs of two to eight pieces. When a colour sells out we may or may not remake it in exactly the same form. If something you want is out of stock, email us — we will tell you honestly whether it is coming back.
Can I request a custom piece or a different colour?
Often, yes. Email admin@hoopsandclay.com with what you have in mind and we will tell you if it is possible and what it would cost.
Are the stones real?
Yes. Our natural stone hoops use genuine lapis lazuli, citrine, pink turquoise, Tibetan agate and lava beads. Because these are natural materials, colour and veining vary from piece to piece — yours will not look identical to the photo.
Are the earrings heavy?
Our clay and charm earrings are deliberately lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The natural stone hoops and jhumkas have a little more weight to them, as you would expect from real stone and metal.
Do you do gift wrapping?
Every order is packed carefully and presentably. If it is a gift, mention it in the order notes and we will make sure no pricing is included in the parcel.
Shipping
How long will my order take?
Dispatch within 1–2 working days, delivery in 3–7 working days depending on your destination. Full details on our shipping page.
Do you ship outside Pakistan?
Not automatically through checkout yet, but we can often arrange it. Email us with your country and what you would like and we will quote you a shipping rate.
What does shipping cost?
It varies by destination and is calculated at checkout. You will always see the exact amount before you pay.
Returns
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Unfortunately not. For hygiene reasons — earrings in particular — all sales are final. Please check measurements and colours carefully before ordering, and email us if you need more photos of a piece.
What if my item arrives damaged or is the wrong item?
We will fix it. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging, and we will send a replacement at no cost to you. Full terms on our returns policy.
Care
How do I look after my jewellery?
Keep pieces away from water, perfume, lotions and hairspray — these dull finishes and loosen glue over time. Put jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first. Store pieces separately in a pouch or box rather than loose in a bag where they can scratch each other.
Will the finish tarnish?
Our stainless steel components resist tarnishing well. Oxidised and antique-finish pieces are meant to darken slightly with age — that patina is intentional. Wipe pieces gently with a dry soft cloth after wearing.
Workshops
Who can attend a charm jewellery workshop?
Kids, teens and adults. We run them for birthday parties, school events and corporate team activities as well as individuals. No experience needed — we teach you everything on the day.
What is included?
All materials, tools and guided support. Three packages are available: a charm bracelet with five charms, a bracelet plus matching earrings, or a loop lanyard with two charms. See the workshop listing for current pricing.
Can you run a workshop at our school or office?
